The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam, highlighting that those who sacrifice for the welfare of others attain immortality:

“जयन्ति ते सुकृतिनो रससिद्धाः कवीश्वराः।

नास्ति येषां यशःकाये जरामरणजं भयम्॥”

Shri Modi also said that Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s sacrifice for India’s unity, integrity and self-respect will continue to inspire every generation.
