1. September 17 – Two programmes:

Mega Blood Donation Camps: Mega blood donation camps will be organised across 14 organisational districts, with a target of collecting 2,500 units of blood and helping those in need through voluntary organisations.

“Aashirwad Ka Diya”: Diyas will be lit in approximately 1.28 lakh beneficiary households, with a target of lighting a total of 7.80 lakh diyas. Of these, 14,000 diyas will be lit at 140 iconic locations across Delhi. All MLAs will participate in the programmes.

2. Seva Chitra – Mere Sapno Ka Bharat: The “Seva Chitra – Mere Sapno Ka Bharat” programme will be organised from September 17 to October 16 across 4,500 schools, involving 5 lakh students.

3. “Seva Ki Kahani”: Ten videos of beneficiaries of government schemes will be released from every Shakti Kendra.

4. September 25 to October 7 – Aangan Milan Seva: Interaction with and felicitation of Anganwadi workers will be organised at 4,095 Anganwadi centres.

5. Seva Mera Yogdan: Cleanliness drives will be conducted at 2,500 locations from September 17 to October 17. Organisation workers will also participate in the Delhi Government’s major Yamuna cleanliness campaign.

6. Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang: Rangoli-making programmes will be organised at iconic locations and markets at the state, district and mandal levels.

7. Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra: On October 7, “Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra – Viksit Bharat Ka Sankalp” will be taken out in all 14 districts.

8. Vadnagar to Varanasi: A team of 50 workers will travel from Delhi to Varanasi on September 15. On September 29, a team of 50 workers from Gujarat will arrive in Delhi from Vadnagar and will be accorded a welcome.

9. Namo Seva – Ankahi Kahaniyan: Between September 18 and October 8, Seva Smaran street plays based on Namo Seva initiatives will be organised at 1,280 locations.

10. Sushasan Seva Samvad: All public representatives will participate in this programme.

Three other programmes will be organised entirely at the government level, details of which will be announced by the Chief Minister.

The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 will conclude with a Yamuna cleanliness campaign organised by the Delhi Government, in which our party workers will participate.

The objective of the Seva Sankalp Utsav is to reach the booth level and connect the last person in society with the spirit of service.

Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta said on Monday that on the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a month-long “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan” will be conducted across Delhi from September 17 to October 17. During this campaign, all departments of the Delhi Government will organise various programmes related to public service. Development projects worth approximately ₹13,820 crore will be inaugurated and foundation stones laid across Delhi during the campaign.

The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister’s birthday and the occasion marking his 25-year journey of public service—from Chief Minister of Gujarat to the country’s Pradhan Sevak—is a matter of pride and happiness for the entire nation, every Indian and every Bharatiya Janata Party worker. The Prime Minister has continuously made public service his mission. His working style and dedication to service are inspirational for everyone. He has always maintained that for governments and public representatives, power is a means of public service and not a means of comfort and privilege. Taking this spirit forward, the Delhi Government has directed every department to undertake special programmes and projects related to public service under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.

Blood Donation Camp

The Chief Minister said that the Health Department will organise a special mega blood donation camp on September 17 on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday. The Delhi Government’s camp has set a target of collecting 2,500 units of blood in a single day. In addition, the Social Welfare Department, in association with the Health Department, will organise special health check-up camps for senior citizens in Delhi. Through these camps, approximately 25,000 senior citizens will undergo health examinations.

Registration and Health Check-ups for Workers and Construction Workers

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that the Labour Department will organise a special programme for workers and construction workers working in Delhi. During the campaign, workers will be registered and arrangements will be made for their health check-ups. Registration of workers is important to connect them with government facilities and welfare schemes. Through this campaign, efforts will be made to ensure that essential services reach workers.

Launch of Official SOTTO Platform for Organ Donation in Delhi

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, describing organ donation as an important form of public service, said that an official platform, the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (SOTTO), has been prepared to promote organ donation in Delhi. It has been developed in accordance with the system operated by the Central Government. The platform will be launched during the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Its objective is to increase awareness about organ donation in Delhi and encourage more people to pledge their organs for donation.

Various welfare activities will also be organised for children at child-care centres operated under the Women and Child Development Department. The Chief Minister said that through these activities, special attention will be given to the development, care and welfare of children.

Cleanliness Campaign in Every Ward and Assembly Constituency of Delhi

The Chief Minister said that, in collaboration with the Urban Development Department and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, special cleanliness drives will be conducted in every ward, Assembly constituency and at various locations across Delhi. Taking forward the goal of “Clean Delhi, Green Delhi”, special attention will be given to cleanliness in every part of the city. During the campaign, cleanliness-related programmes will be conducted on a large scale.

Launch of ₹8,000 Crore Projects for Yamuna and Cleanliness Campaign

The Chief Minister said that the Yamuna is a symbol of faith for Delhi and every Indian. Therefore, cleaning the Yamuna is not merely a one-day programme for the Delhi Government but an important continuous initiative. Projects worth approximately ₹8,000 crore related to the cleaning of the Yamuna will be inaugurated and their foundation stones laid by the Delhi Government during the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Alongside this, a large-scale cleanliness campaign for the Yamuna will also be conducted.

Tree Plantation in Every Ward

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that under the goal of “Clean Delhi, Green Delhi”, the Environment Department has set a target of planting 70 lakh trees and plants across Delhi. During the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, plantation programmes will be organised in every ward to take this target forward.

“Mere Sapno Ka Bharat” Competition to Involve 5 Lakh Students

The Chief Minister said that various competitions will be organised on the theme “Mere Sapno Ka Bharat”. These will include painting, speech and reel-making competitions. The target is to involve 5 lakh students from approximately 5,000 schools across Delhi. These will include Delhi Government schools as well as private schools, New Delhi Municipal Council schools and Municipal Corporation schools. Universities will also be included in the programme. Through these competitions, children and young people will get an opportunity to express their ideas, imagination and vision for a developed India.

“Aashirwad Ka Diya” Programme on Prime Minister’s Birthday

The Chief Minister said that the “Aashirwad Ka Diya” programme will be organised on the evening of September 17. Under this programme, beneficiaries across Delhi will light diyas in their homes and extend birthday greetings to the Hon’ble Prime Minister. During his 25 years of public life, the Prime Minister has served the nation and its people every day and every moment. This programme will be organised to express respect and extend greetings to him. The Chief Minister, along with all ministers and public representatives, will participate in this special programme.

Stories of Beneficiaries, in Their Own Words

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that under the “Namo Seva Ki Ankahi Kahaniyan” programme, real-life stories of beneficiaries whose lives have been positively transformed by government schemes and services will be brought forward. The Delhi Government will visit beneficiaries and document their stories. These stories will be presented before the public through videos and street plays.

Aangan Ka Milan

Praising the role of Anganwadi workers, the Chief Minister said that they are continuously serving society and making an important contribution to the welfare of children and families. There are 10,897 Anganwadi centres in Delhi, where approximately 21,350 Anganwadi workers are engaged. During the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, all these Anganwadi workers will be felicitated.

The Chief Minister also said that all public representatives will participate in the “Seva Jyoti Kalash Yatra” organised by the organisation along with the people. She said that through this journey, the spirit of service and public participation will be strengthened.

“Seva Setu” Campaign in 70 Assembly Constituencies

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that under the “Seva Setu Abhiyan”, various schemes of the Central Government and Delhi Government will be taken directly to the people. Special three-day camps will be organised in all 70 Assembly constituencies of Delhi. Information and services related to various schemes of the Central and Delhi Governments will be made available at these camps. Government officials will remain present at the camps to facilitate registration of eligible citizens, provide information about schemes and extend necessary assistance.

“Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang” to Promote Unity and Environmental Conservation

The Chief Minister said that special programmes will be organised under “Seva Ke Rang, Rashtra Ke Sang” through rangoli and mandala art. A plan is in place to create a giant human rangoli with the participation of thousands of people. Both education and environment will be integrated into this programme. A special rangoli will also be created with the help of plants to promote the message of “Clean Delhi, Green Delhi”. The programme will convey the message of environmental conservation to the public.

“Innovation Challenge” for Youth in Delhi

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that five centres will be established across the country for the “Innovation Challenge”. Every state will participate in the programme. Delhi has also been allotted one centre for this initiative. Young people from neighbouring states will also be connected with the programme in Delhi. A platform will be provided to showcase the innovations and new ideas of young people and give them an opportunity to present them before the public.

Direct Public Interaction through “Sushasan Seva Samvad”

The Chief Minister said that the “Sushasan Seva Samvad” programme will also be organised during the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Under this programme, various departments of the Delhi Government will inform the public about their public welfare initiatives and good-governance measures. Direct interaction with the public will also take place alongside inauguration and foundation-stone-laying programmes of various government departments. The objective is to inform people about the government’s work, schemes and achievements.

Inauguration and Foundation Stone-Laying of Projects of Various Departments

The Chief Minister said that several development projects of various departments of the Delhi Government will be inaugurated and their foundation stones laid during the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Taking together the projects of all departments, works worth approximately ₹13,820 crore will be inaugurated and foundation stones laid during the campaign.

Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta extended birthday greetings to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and said that the people of Delhi convey their heartfelt greetings and best wishes to him. She prayed that the Prime Minister’s blessings continue to remain with Delhi and that he remains healthy and continues to serve the nation with dedication.

Delhi’s Development Receives New Momentum under Prime Minister’s Leadership

The Chief Minister expressed her gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and said that the Central Government has continuously advanced the goal of a developed Delhi alongside a developed India. Over the past 12 years, numerous important infrastructure projects have been undertaken in Delhi and its surrounding areas, giving new momentum to the capital’s transport system, connectivity and overall development.

Several important roads and expressways have played a significant role in improving Delhi’s traffic system and reducing congestion. These include the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Dwarka Expressway, UER-2, and the Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressways.

The Chief Minister said that the total value of infrastructure-related works approved, ongoing and proposed for Delhi during the tenure of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is ₹12.25 lakh crore. The Central Government’s contribution to the Jewar Airport, Dhaula Kuan signal-free corridor, Regional Rapid Transit System, expansion of the Delhi Metro and other major projects has been significant.

Modern convention and exhibition venues such as Yashobhoomi and Bharat Mandapam have enabled Delhi to host international-level events. The successful hosting of the recently held 18th BRICS Summit also demonstrates the capacity created by this modern infrastructure.
