The Prime Minister,  Shri Narendra Modi today shared Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising the importance of good character and conduct:

“ज्ञानवांश्च तथा वाग्मी कर्मस्वपि च निष्ठितः।

एवं युक्तोऽपि न श्रेयान् यदि शीलविवर्जितः॥”

It says that a person who is wise and eloquent and endowed with a good character and conduct is truly a good person.
